VACATION ARSENAL

Some people are mad about skiing, snow and winter. Me? I’m all about sun, beach, sun and water. I can stay on the beach all day long as long as I have proper gear for the beach. That’s why I always invest in good swimwear and chic cover-ups, which are your must-packs this season. And, trust me; do not save money on quality swimwear. Always think that the bikini or that one-piece needs to take you right through the whole season. 

Summer 2014 trends are all about adding luxury to your beach look with impactful one-pieces and hot sunglasses. But the attention is in the details. Wear your one-piece with stack full of bangles, oversized hat or oversized glasses. And remember: this season is all about vintage styles.

If you want to add some exude glamour to your next getaway pick some printed, colorful or floral kaftan. This piece is perfect for sunnier climes. Shorts are good investment that will make a pretty addition to your vacation arsenal. Style them with a loose- fit kaftan and flat sandals for an easy breezy look. A wide brim hat is a cornerstone summer investment. You can wear if you are going somewhere half fancy for dinner or need to dress to impress at the beach bar, when your hair is all messy from the sea- salt.

If you want to dress up little bit more, pack some loose- fit silk pants, or some pencil skirt and pair it with bandeau bikini top, for example, and some espadrilles. Since hi-tech fabrics are not acceptable but also desirable for evening, a neoprene one- piece or bikini could be very useful, and even so flattering you might find yourself wearing one right through to fall. As for the shoes, my favourites one are jelly sandals. They are a grown-up take on an old school favourite.

The last but not the least is the bag. I love wearing a day bag on the beach. No one said that it has to be straw tote. Or you can wear fringed bags, they are must have piece this summer.
